Great photo and thanks for becoming a follower! I've taken a look at your blog and taken note of a 'few of your favorite things'...me too! Thought of a couple things: I always hear about how wonderful Sweet Peas smell...I had some and the fragrance was zilch...are there unscented varieties? And since you love roses, garage sales, etc., I thought of some of my posts that you might enjoy:'Long Ago...With Fond Greetings!, 'Scent of a Woman', 'The Ugly Ducking Transformed!', 'Somebody Left the Door Open and I Escaped!', 'Striking Gold at the Garage Sale', and 'Dish Dreamer'. Hope you mind me being so brazen as listing them, but just thought you might enjoy. (I think you can just type the title in the 'Search This Blog' box and they will come up.) Darling photo of you at the top! And you are a GREAT grandma too? Awesome! I wish I could see my gkids more often--they live about 650 miles away, and since I don't walk five miles a day to keep in shape, I can't walk that far!! Heehee. Have a great day!
Okay, I'm back... the Japanese garden is in Rockford, IL, and it doesn't look you can put the entire title of the blog post in the 'search' bar and find the post... maybe just a word or two from the title might work.
I am a collector and I love to shop in thrift shops, garage sales, and estate sales. I like hand painted "rose" plates, tea cups, tea pots, old linens, pictures, and many more things. I have lots of them, and hope some day to display some more of them, in the meantime I will keep on collecting! I also love shells, and have quite a few boxes that are different shapes and some are old and some new, but I like them all. I like to garden, and had some terrific Dahlias last year as well as Hollyhock and various other flowers. I walk 5 days a week and keep in shape that way. I also volunteer at a local senior center and belong to an antique club. I keep very busy and love it!!! I enjoy visiting with my grandchildren and children. Thanks for stopping by my blog!!!
My goodness, what beautiful leaves. I live in Maine and haven't seen color like that yet. Great picture of what autumn really is.. have a great day!
